For pre-owned showrooms

Inventory software for cars that are each one of a kind.

New-car stock is identical units with a list price. Pre-owned stock is the opposite: every car arrived from a different owner, with its own condition, its own refurbishment bill and its own paperwork still in motion. Inventory management on a pre-owned floor means knowing, for each car, exactly which stage it is in and what was spent on each job — running in production at a working showroom.

From lead to floor

Seven steps from a lead to a car on the floor.

The floor sees the flip the moment it happens.

  1. 1 Procurement lead Someone hears about a car. It gets logged, not remembered.
  2. 2 Owner approves the buy Nothing is purchased on somebody's word alone.
  3. 3 Purchase paperwork RC, insurance, forms — captured against the car.
  4. 4 Pickup A driver is tasked; the car arrives with a record.
  5. 5 Inspection Physical check, condition rated, damages marked.
  6. 6 Refurbishment Jobs go to vendors, with proof photos and invoices back.
  7. 7 Ready for sale Inventory flips the stage; the floor can see it.

What the inventory record carries

Condition, paperwork, job costs and age — per car.

  • Stages — procured, in refurb, ready, booked, delivered
  • Physical inspection, condition ratings and damage marking
  • Purchase documents captured against the car, not a drawer
  • Refurbishment jobs assigned to vendors, with a QC sign-off
  • Vendor invoices and payments tracked against each job
  • Proof photos attached to each job
  • Bulk entry when you buy a batch
  • Reports — sales funnel, leaderboard, ageing, loan pipeline

Inventory is one part of the system. See the whole of it on the Kenro Dealership page, the 15 steps a pre-owned car goes through, or what a DMS means for a pre-owned floor.

Questions owners ask

Before you message us.

What does a car's inventory record hold?

Its purchase documents captured against the car rather than a drawer, the physical inspection with condition ratings and damage marking, every refurbishment job with the vendor's invoice and proof photos, and its current stage — procured, in refurb, ready, booked or delivered.

How does a car move from bought to ready for sale?

Through defined stages. Refurbishment jobs are assigned to vendors with a QC sign-off and proof photos, and the car flips to ready only when every job is done — which the whole floor can see.

Can I load a batch of cars at once?

Yes. An admin can enter a batch on one screen and submit it once, so a lot of ten cars does not mean ten forms.

How do I see what is sitting too long?

Reports cover ageing alongside the sales funnel, leaderboard and loan pipeline, so a car that has been in stock for ninety days is visible before the month-end conversation.

Does inventory stay separate per branch?

Yes. Branch scoping keeps two showrooms as two showrooms, with one owner view over both.
